At ClearBank, I am the Director of Engineering for Payments, working with engineering teams who build ClearBank's UK and EU payment rails, API security, and Open Banking products.
As an individual contributor, I specialised in all things authentication, identity, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. While I am currently taking a break from the world of identity & web security to focus on leadership roles, I still find myself helping with the world of API security and PSD2 initiatives at ClearBank. I also keep my hand in by offering consultancy services.

Responsible for ClearBank’s self-implemented UK and EU payment rails, Open Banking integrations, and API security. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, I lead modern engineering teams within a heavily regulated, risk-averse environment, which requires me to balance the needs of engineering with those of the business, risk, and regulators while still moving fast enough to innovate.
